Our philanthropic services team provides a single point of advice to clients on implementing strategic giving programs. We can:
Create a philanthropic entity
We can advise you on the most appropriate philanthropic entity given your needs. Our services include assistance with the formation of a constitution or trust deed and obtaining the appropriate approvals from the Australian Tax Office.
Assist with your philanthropic vision/mission
We can help you determine the philanthropic vision and mission of your foundation. This can be done one-on-one or through a half day workshop involving the entire family. These workshops are a great way to engage the family early on in the life of the foundation, as well as set some structure and focus for the foundation in the initial years in order to maximise outcomes.
Assist with your research and grant making
We can help you with undertaking the necessary research and grant approval process required for effective grant making and this includes all aspects of due diligence on community groups. Research can be provided on an ongoing basis or for special projects as required.
Provide on-going administration of your foundation
Although not onerous, there are on-going administration matters that will need to be taken care of, including board meeting agendas and minutes, grant and expense payments, bank account management, preparation of returns and financial statements (audited) for the Australian Taxation Office and claims for imputation credit refunds.
Determine your investment approach
