Lloyd had an extensive career with Alcoa Inc, covering the mining, mineral processing and manufacturing industries, as well as M&A and government relations. Roles included General Manager of WA Operations, President of US Smelting and President of Asia Pacific, based in the US, Japan and China. More recently, he was based in Hong Kong as President of Cerberus Asian Advisors, a unit of Cerberus Capital Management, a major global private investment fund. He is a board member of Arafura Resources, an ASX company. He has an MBA and bachelor of engineering, both from the University Of Western Australia.
